Scope Concept design of lifting grabs to allow removal and handling of sub-assembly and cluster fuel pins to allow repackaging for long term storage. Both grabs required to be manipulator friendly for in-cell use and allow handling of the fuel pins in both horizontal and vertical positions. Both grabs were classified as pieces of lifting equipment and required to be LOLER compliant.
